Olympic Gold Medalist and Cuban defector – Yuriorkis Gamboa – is gearing up for another big fight. This time it’s on ESPN’s Friday Night Fights on July 18th, 2008. Gamboa takes on Jose Rojas (25-6-1). Gamboa (10-0, 8 KOs) just came off a win during his HBO debut in May against Darling Jimenez. The 26-year old known as “El Ciclon de Guantanamo” is heading to Primm, Nevada from Miami and will be opening up his training camp to the media before leaving.
